Beneq is a nanotechnology driven company with a strong IPR portfolio offering industrialised equipment and technology for functional coatings.

Beneq´s offering includes equipment based on Hot Aerosol Layering Operation (nHALO®) and Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) technologies. Our unique processes are protected by IPR which we license with our equipment. Process know-how forms an integral part of our deliveries.

nHALO ® is a flame spray technology, used mainly for applying functional coatings on glass and ceramic tiles. It is also used for multicomponent nanoparticle synthesis.

ALD systems are used to produce accurate, pinhole-free and conformal thin-film coatings on various substrates. In addition to the traditional applications of ALD in the IC industry, we also offer coating solutions for other industrial applications.

Beneq´s main technologies are Atmospheric nHALO & nAERO aerosol coating technologies and Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD). nHALO is a flame spray technology, used mainly for applying various functional coatings on glass, ceramic tiles, and some metals. It is also used for multicomponent nanoparticle synthesis. In the nAERO process, submicron droplets are directly deposited on hot glass and forming a uniform coating film.

ALD is used to produce accurate, pinhole-free and conformal thin-film coatings on various substrates.

10.02.2012	Beneq wins Internationalization Award of the President of Finland The President of the Republic of Finland Tarja Halonen has today presented Beneq, together with Normet and the Finnish gaming cluster, with the 2012 Internationalization Awards. The aim of the internationalization award is to promote company activities in an international environment and their ability to develop and implement new operating models.
10.02.2012	Beneq saa tasavallan presidentin kansainvälistymispalkinnon Tasavallan presidentti Tarja Halonen on myöntänyt vuoden 2011 kansainvälistymispalkinnot Beneqille, Normetille ja Suomen peliklusterille. Kansainvälistymispalkinnon tavoitteena on edistää yritysten toimintaa kansainvälisessä ympäristössä ja kykyä kehittää ja soveltaa uusia toimintamalleja.

15.11.2011	Beneq Wins Best in New Materials from Global Cleantech Cluster Association Beneq has been named Best of New Materials by the Global Cleantech Cluster Association. Winning the GCCA Later Stage Award for New Materials demonstrates the significant success of Beneq in the growing cleantech industry and validates its innovative coating equipment and technology as a leader in the New Materials sector.
