FeneTech to launch Version 5.9 of its FeneVision ERP software

Ohio/USA based FeneTech Inc. has just released Version 5.9 of the world-renowned and fully integrated FeneVision ERP software solution for the glass processing, window & door as well as sunroom manufacturing industry. Version 5.9 features many new functions, including an improved stock control system featuring purchasing enhanced by a proportional ordering function. Proportional ordering ensures minimum delivery levels are met to reduce or eliminate delivery surcharges. Using historical inventory usage data the algorithm optimizes deliveries by ensuring a truck is full with needed and/or fast moving inventory – in proportion to each other. This ensures each purchase order is within with acceptable delivery levels without ordering slow moving material to fill out the delivery.
An additional added feature is the Unit of Measure Schedule functionality. Using this technology companies will be able to measure, value and treat their stock and purchases in various units, such as lineal, by surface, by stock length, by different stock plate, by case, by truck - all by setting up only one base product. The system will do all conversations fully automatically - each of these unit of measurement schedules can then assigned to stock, cost, purchasing, etc. as required.

Furthermore FeneVision ERP Version 5.9 includes also a brand new security permission framework to allow for even more flexibility in controlling what users can access. In addition the system now offers multi-lingual and multi-currency support and is available in various different languages. The new version will be on display during the upcoming GlassBuild 2009 show in Atlanta, to be held from September 30 - October 2, 2009 in the World Congress Center.
