glasstec and GlassPrint agree on Cooperation

GlassPrint 2011 debut in Düesseldorf on 23/24 November

The world’s most important glass trade fair, glasstec, and GlassPrint, a leading conference with accompanying exhibition on the theme of decorative glass finishing, have agreed on a cooperation. The two events will mutually support each other in future.

Commenting on this, Birgit Horn, Director of glasstec, said: “We are pleased that GlassPrint will be hosted by the glasstec city Düsseldorf this year. This will make the home of the global No. 1 trade fair for the entire glass sector also a centre of attraction for a major part of this industry in the years in-between glasstec. Decorative glass finishing is also a dynamic exhibition segment at glasstec reflecting the great potential of this field.”

23 and 24 November 2011 will see GlassPrint being held for the first time in Düsseldorf at the Radisson Blue Scandinavia Hotel. The event will focus on innovations in the area of decorative finishing of flat and hollow glass. Experienced industry experts will deliver talks on the possibilities for heavy-metal free printing inks, digital printing, screen-printing processes as well as advanced machinery and pre-press technologies. The accompanying exhibition will present the corresponding solutions. GlassPrint targets glass makers, glass decorators and suppliers. The latest event in 2009 was attended by delegates from over 37 nations.
