In 2019, EME commissioned another new batch house in partnership with the Mexico-based glass manufacturer, IVC, which saw it produce 9.5 million bottles per day for a popular beer brand. This video sees experts from both companies share what it means to be involved in the project. IVC's new facility incorporates economically built concrete silos and a steel head house structure, while our efficient, industry-leading equipment can be found inside.
Commissioned before the pandemic, IVC's second EME batch plant was designed to supply batches for furnace 5, and potentially furnace 6, with 950-tonnes of flint and amber per day.
