Furnace drain at Noelle + von Campe

As part of the general repair of furnace 4, the furnace drain took place at the Noelle + von Campe plant in Boffzen on April 29, 2025.

Glass melting technology specialist HORN is equipping the repaired environmentally friendly furnace 4 with the latest, low-emission technology and is responsible for the complete detailed planning of the refractories as well as the steel construction for the furnace, distributor and five forehearths.

In this project, HORN experts are carrying out the furnace drain, demolition, the complete construction work for the refractory material, steel and equipment as well as the heating up.

The new regenerative end fired furnace is expected to be commissioned in July 2025.
