 SPHINX FLOAT GLASS products : Clear, Tinted & Reflective. It can be combined with Low-E glasses in Insulated or Laminated forms.

CLEAR FLOAT GLASS

Sphinx Glass offers a wide range of glass products that deliver both functional and aesthetic performance while meeting today´s strict level of standards. Sheet thickness ranges from 2 mm to 19 mm, with a variety of sizes including Jumbo Sizes.

TINTED FLOAT GLASS

SPHINX GLASS offers heat absorbing tinted glasses in a variety of thickness. The unique tints offer improved solar control properties combined with significant reduction in UV transmission and Glare from direct sunlight.
Sphinx Glass tinted glass range offer more options for Architects, Investors and also for downstream processors.

ONLINE COATED\ REFLECTIVE GLASS

Coated on clear or tinted, Reflective Glass products are designed to cut down undesirable heat gain through windows and glazing while offering a smooth mirror finish towards the exteriors. Pyrolytic or online coating gives numerous functional benefits: high durability of the coating, longer shelf-life, ease of heat treatment and ease of processing.

The Product range has been designed to cater the rising demand of energy saving  whilst combining features for occupant comfort & Privacy.

Storia

Sphinx Glass (SG) is a float glass manufacturer established in 2008 by Citadel Capital the pursuit of producing of high quality float glass.
Citadel Capital is the leading private equity management firm in the Middle East and North Africa region.
SG has licensed world-class production technologies from PPG Industries Inc. USA.

Sphinx Glass Greenfield plant is located in Sadat City, some 70 kilometers north of Cairo.
The 220,000 square-meter state-of-the-art factory will have a production capacity of 600 tons of glass per day about 200,000 ton of glass per annum The new plant will be producing the highest quality clear and tinted float glass for use in both the automotive and construction industries, with the capability to produce glass with thicknesses varying between 2mm to 19mm.
The production facility also constitutes of an online (Pyrolytic) coating facility to manufacture reflective float glass products.
