Das sehr dynamische Marktumfeld sowohl im Bereich der Telekommunikation als auch in der Halbleiterindustrie erfordert einen stärkeren Fokus und eine Neuordnung der Geschäfte.
Dies ermöglicht maßgeschneiderte Kundenlösungen, gestärkte Kompetenzfelder und gesteigerte Qualität von Produkten und Prozessen.
Im Rahmen der Trennung erhalten beide Geschäftseinheiten neue Namen. Das Halbleiter- und Photonikgeschäft von Heraeus Quarzglas wird unter dem Namen Heraeus Conamic geführt. Das Telekommunikationsfasergeschäft agiert unter dem Namen Heraeus Comvance.
